Pioneering Canadian artist Colin Campbell (b. 1942 Reston, MB; d. 2001 Toronto, ON) used video as a flexible and accessible medium for storytelling; his homespun tapes are a perverse collage of tall tales, rumours, conversations and daydreams gleaned from his everyday life. People Like Us: The Gossip of Colin Campbell surveys the artist's illustrious video career from early tapes like True/False (1972) to his final work, Que Sera Sera (2001). It is the first major exhibition of his work since his death in 2001. Organized by curator Jon Davies, People Like Us: The Gossip of Colin Campbell is available for tour through 2011. Silent As Glue brings together the materially-rich work of Lynda Gammon (Victoria, BC), Matt Harle (Beacon, NY) and Elspeth Pratt (Vancouver, BC).
