Join us at Oakville Galleries for Last Leaves, an intermediate reduction printmaking course that explores the stark, atmospheric beauty of late fall. This three-session program invites participants to learn the reduction method by capturing the textures of November’s final foliage.
Participants will dive into the technicalities of the process, emphasizing strategic planning and registration printing. The course focuses on carving in stages, making intentional decisions, and breaking designs into multiple layers as the block is gradually transformed.
By the end of the course, participants will have produced a limited-edition series of multi-layered prints that reflect the quiet transition of the season.

All classes will be conducted in the Main Floor Education Centre and occasionally outside in Gairloch Gardens. Drop-off will be outside of the Education Centre at Oakville Galleries in Gairloch Gardens, 1306 Lakeshore Road East, 2 km from downtown Oakville.
Requests for a program registration cancellation that are eligible for a full refund must be made in writing at least 14 days or more prior to the start date of the program. There are no refunds for cancellations requested less than 14 days before the program begins.
Oakville Galleries reserves the right to cancel or combine classes if a minimum enrollment number is not met. If Oakville Galleries cancels a program, registrants will be notified up to a week prior to the start of the program and registrants will be offered a full refund.
In the event that a participant is unable to attend a scheduled class during the scheduled program, make-up dates, refunds, or credits will not be provided.
