Join us at Oakville Galleries for a hands-on Beginner Printmaking Course designed for those curious about exploring printmaking for the first time!
Over the course of two sessions, participants will learn basic carving techniques using soft linoleum and be introduced to simple printmaking processes. The course will explore both monoprints and basic multicolour printing, allowing participants to experiment with layering and texture.
By the end of the course, participants will create a small series of original prints and gain foundational printmaking skills they can continue to build on. All materials are provided.

All classes will be conducted in the Main Floor Education Centre and occasionally outside in Gairloch Gardens. Drop-off will be outside of the Education Centre at Oakville Galleries in Gairloch Gardens, 1306 Lakeshore Road East, 2 km from downtown Oakville.
Requests for a program registration cancellation that are eligible for a full refund must be made in writing at least 14 days or more prior to the start date of the program. There are no refunds for cancellations requested less than 14 days before the program begins.
Oakville Galleries reserves the right to cancel or combine classes if a minimum enrollment number is not met. If Oakville Galleries cancels a program, registrants will be notified up to a week prior to the start of the program and registrants will be offered a full refund.
In the event that a participant is unable to attend a scheduled class during the scheduled program, make-up dates, refunds, or credits will not be provided.
