Oakville Galleries open call for Artisans for the launch of The Atelier: Craft Fair!

Oakville Galleries launches The Atelier: Craft Fair, a presentation and market of local and regional crafts from December 5–6, 2026.  The Atelier will bring together a curated selection of artisans, designers, creative small businesses and independent makers for Oakville Galleries’ inaugural Craft Fair in our stunning Gairloch Gardens facilities.

Taking place over two days, The Atelier will offer visitors an opportunity to discover and shop for original crafts, handmade goods, independently designed products, and creative gifts in time for the winter holiday season.

We are looking for artisans whose work demonstrates quality, originality, artistic or creative merit, and thoughtful presentation. We hope to bring together a diverse range of vendors and products, with a particular interest in work that is handmade, independently designed, or produced by the applicant. 

Up to 40 artisans will be selected through a juried application process. Oakville Galleries will consider the quality and originality of the work, its suitability for the market, product presentation and price range, and the overall variety and balance of artisans represented.

Applicant Information: 

First Year Cost

Half Table: $160: 36" W × 30" D designated table space

Full Table: $320: 72" W × 30" D designated table space 

Optional Wall Space: Additional $40 Available as an add-on to a half table. Please indicate in your application if you would like to request wall space. Wall space is limited and cannot be guaranteed.

Event Dates: December 5th, 2026, 11 AM –6 PM, December 6th, 2026, 11 AM–4 PM
Event Location: Oakville Galleries in Gairloch Gardens (1306 Lakeshore Road East, Oakville, Ontario)

Deadline: Sunday October 25th, 11:59 PM

Participants are responsible for their own displays, sales, payment processing, packaging, inventory, and applicable taxes. Oakville Galleries will not take a commission on sales. 

All selected artisans are required to participate on both event dates, December 5 and 6, 2026.

Who Can Apply?

We welcome applications from:

Artisans; Designers; Creative small businesses; Independent  makers of original goods

Products should be handmade, designed, or independently produced by you or your business and must be appropriate for a family-friendly arts and cultural venue.

What to Submit?

Applicants will be asked to provide:

Name and business/artisan name

Contact information and website or social media, if applicable

A brief description of your practice or business

A description of the products you intend to sell

Approximate price range

Information about materials or production process

5-10 images showing examples of the work you intend to sell

A brief description or photograph of how you envision your table display

Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. Successful applicants will be notified by email on Friday November 6th, 2026 by 5:00 PM.
