If you've joined our camp programs before, we appreciate your support and loyalty, and we can't wait to welcome you and your family back to another wonderful summer of fun and creative programming at camp! We'd love to welcome you this year if you've never experienced Oakville Galleries Summer Camps!
Campers will create artworks inspired by different themes, artists, and exhibitions using various art materials and techniques, including drawing, painting, collage, clay, mixed media and so much more! Our experienced staff will guide campers through the artistic process to create work that draws on their own experiences, creative visions, and imagination. No two campers' outputs look alike, as every activity is adapted to suit our participants' individual ideas, interests, and abilities.
There will be plenty of outdoor time in the surrounding Gairloch Gardens, where opportunities to play in beautiful lakeside grounds will round out the full-day camp experience for our energetic campers.
At the end of each week, campers will set up a pop-up exhibition to share their work with friends and family. All skill levels are welcome!

Not Sure Which Age Group to Choose?
We recommend enrolling your child in the Junior group (ages 6–8) if they are in grades SK–3, or in the Intermediate group (ages 9–12) if they are in grades 4–7.
If your child is on the cusp of both camp age ranges, you know them best and can ultimately decide which group they would thrive in. Placing them in the group closest to their developmental level usually makes for a more positive and comfortable camp experience.
The camp projects are also the same for both groups, just slightly more advanced in the intermediate camp for the older kids, who are generally a bit more independent with their art making.
The camp Session runs from 30 June – 22 August, Monday to Friday.
(No classes on 29 June and 3 August)
9:00 AM – 4:30 PM
All classes will be conducted in the Main Floor and Second Floor Education Centre and occasionally outside in Gairloch Gardens. Camper drop-off will be outside of the Education Centre at Oakville Galleries in Gairloch Gardens, 1306 Lakeshore Road East, 2 km from downtown Oakville.
