Testimonials

"It was amazing! Emma was great, very on top of things and organized. The program was very engaging for students. I like the planning process and the encouragement to collaborate prior to beginning."

"The kids were thoroughly engaged and Meghan was very personable and clearly enjoyed working with the kids to create their artistic endeavours."

"The students really enjoyed the variety of materials that they could use for their "Artist Books". It was very special to have such nice items to work with (that were all pre-cut/measured and laid out). The lesson was very fluid in terms of starting with introductions, moving on to examples of artist books, and then completing the project step-by-step."

"The structure is great for the students as at the beginning they're introduced to different types of stop motion animation, they get to see what it looks like, and then use that to inspire their own creations. The process is ideal, having the students create a story board, bringing in Drama and Language curriculum as they have to think of the elements of a story, drawing and writing it out before creating and constructing their scene and characters. They get exposed to photography equipment, how to use it, and as they photograph their scene, learn how to problem solve technology as well as what may or may not be working, and how to pivot."

"We were really impressed with the history of masks as well as the instruction of using the clay material"

"It was very well organized and informative. Kids really enjoyed it!"

"Both instructors were fantastic! They broke down the steps into manageable chunks for younger students (Grades 1 and 2). The overall flow of the day was very smooth, and allowed plenty of time for student learning and creation!"
